Lori started her animal welfare service volunteering at Maricopa Animal Care and Control by walking dogs. Then became an adoption counselor and did the Pet of the Week segment on Channel 12. Eventually, was asked to join the Board of Directors for Friends of Animal Care and Control, which is now The Arizona Pet Project. Lori served two 3 year terms and held several positions including Vice Chairman. Over her 10 years of involvement, the enthunasia rate at MCACC went from 50/50 to 90/10. Lori was able to term off of the Board feeling that my mission had been accomplished!!

Lori and her husband Chris have two dogs-Savannah and Austin, two cats- Raleigh and Charlotte and fish.
