Tamara has worked in the pet supply industry for over 20 years, most recently with Simmons Pet Food as a National Account Manager for the pet specialty channel. Tamara’s philanthropic service in animal welfare dates back to 2007 when she began a collection drive in her community after the pet food recalls devastated local shelters and rescues. In four years Tamara’s community efforts yielded over 15,000 pounds of food for local animal welfare organizations. In 2014, Tamara began volunteering for The Arizona Pet Project. She ultimately joined their board in 2017 and served for three years, including one year as Secretary. Tamara’s four-legged family includes a 13 year old black lab, Leeloo and a 10 year old lab mix, Flynn. Both from a local rescue/shelter.
